“Hotmail Accounts Have Been Hacked” email message which claims unusual activities have been detected on the recipients’ Hotmail accounts, is sent by scammers. They are being sent by cybercriminals, to steal Microsoft, MSN, Hotmail, Live or Outlook usernames, and passwords.
When you receive such emails, do not click on the links or follow the instructions in it. To access your account, go directly to www.outlook.com or hotmail.com and sign into their accounts.
Never you click on a link to sign into your accounts. The emails take this format:
