Binance.US Lists Algorand and Zcash

Binance.US, Binance’s trading platform for customers in the U.S., on Thursday October 17th announced that it had added support for two more cryptoassets: Algorand (ALGO) and Zcash (ZEC).

The platform’s branch for US residents which was launched in September 2019, is a digital asset exchange that is “powered by matching engine and wallet technologies” licensed from Binance but is operated by San Francisco-based BAM Trading Services.

On October 15th, Binance.US listed Dash (DASH). Chainlink (LINK) and Ravencoin (RVN) were listed on October 10th.

According to Binance.US, it has already started taking deposits for ALGO and ZEC. It should be noted that in the case of ACH USD deposits, “you will be able to buy and sell digital assets from your USD wallet immediately, but deposited funds are placed under an initial hold of 10 days before you can take them out of Binance.US.”

The new trading pairs—ALGO/USD and ZEC/USD—are set to go live at 21:00 EST on 17 October 2019 or 01:00 UTC on 18 October 2019 and once trading goes live, withdrawals will be possible.
