Samsung’s recently released Galaxy S20 will include the same cryptocurrency storage facilities found in other models the company released, including the Samsung Galaxy S10, which came with a built-in cryptocurrency wallet.
Samsung’s website talked about its improved battery life and picture-capturing capabilities. It also references security, specifically for private keys.
It reads:
“We created a secure processor dedicated to protecting your PIN, password, pattern, and Blockchain Private Key. Combined with the Knox platform, security is infused into every part of your phone, from hardware to software. So private data stays private.”
Samsung’s Blockchain Keystore wallet was introduced with the S10 range, and initially only supported the Ethereum blockchain and its ERC-20 tokens. Support for bitcoin and TRON were later added respectively.
