Get New Taxify Mobile App – Safety Button, Install, Review
Taxify in partnership with emergency assistance app Namola, have announced the launch of an in-app safety button that connects risk drivers to emergency services.
Country manager for Taxify, Gareth Taylor said: “Rider and driver safety is our first and foremost priority. The safety button will allow Taxify drivers to access rapid deployment of the correct emergency response, should they find themselves in danger,”
“Namola are the leaders in community safety, we have a huge sense of relief in rolling out this partnership.”
In South Africa, Taxify is available in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth.
Explaining how the app works, Taxify wrote:
“Here’s how the app works:
1. Set the location and request a car.
2. See your driver arrive in real-time.
3. Enjoy the ride to your destination.
Taxify app features:
