Through Nifty Gateway on Saturday, Adel Tesfaye, known as Weekend, is set to release his first NFT. Weekend followed the path of other famous Musicians like Grimes, Rico Nasty, King Leon and Ja Rule and these musicians promptly identified the NFTs power to put dollar back in the hands of artists.
The NFTs will entail a one of kind token which will include the audio track of a song that will be exhibited on the platform and also to be exhibited on the platform is artwork of a limited edition that was created in alliance with Strange Loop studios. The unlimited number of artwork will be sold at a fixed price over a set period of time while the tokenized song will be auctioned to the highest bidder.
